Peter Walker

From Production Planner of a shoe factory to a Barrister, Accountant and author: Peter Walker has had a varied career. Peter says, ‘Although businesses need specialists to help them to order their affairs, those specialists must not have a narrow and restrictive experience.’

Peter has consequently worked as a Relief Shoe Shop Manager, and, as he gained qualifications, his job titles included Internal Audit Manager, Company Secretary, and Legal Adviser. He has held roles in small and medium size enterprises, and in public companies, such as retailers, security, investment banking, textiles, telecommunications, and property management.

Peter concludes, ‘As for my qualifications I am a late developer, and gained them later in life, so my career has been varied and hard work, but at least it has included a lot of fun.’
